Winter season card

Winter, spring, summer or fall, all I want to do is bring joy with my handmade cards. So I’ll be there making them and teaching you how to make them too. Got the song in your head? Well why not go and make a bunch of cards for others.

Materials needed:
Brick stencil
Embossing past
Real red ink refill
Embossing past knife
Old olive card stock
Whisper white card stock
Chocolate chip card stock
Basic black card stock
Pacific point card stock
Wink of stella clear
White marker
Seasonal layers thinlits

Cut a piece of old olive card stock 8 1/2’ x 5 1/2” and score it at 4 14”, fold score line and set aside. Now cut 2 pieces of whisper white card stock 4” x 5 1/4” a dad on to the inside of the card base and the other one we will work with now.
Put that piece of card stock on a protective surface and adhere the brick stencil over it with washi tape. On that protective surface add a little on the embossing past to it and then add real red ink refill and mix together. With your embossing spatula take the embossing past and smile it all ove the stencil. Remove the stencil and let the past dry.
Adhere the embossed piece to the base of the card and then die cut out the chair and branch from the seasonal layers thinlits. Adhere the chair to the brick wall and the branch above it. Now die cut out some snow flacks and place them where you wish on your card.
Lastly add white marker to the branch, chair, ground and snowflakes. You can also add wink of stella to that for shine.

Now that you are done send a few cards to bring joy to others, and don’t forget to sign up for my free monthly newsletter.
